How do you guys deal with this problem?

My FB page is growing in popularity but this has brought with it a massive headache

Every single day, some assclown will post his affiliate refcode in a comment to my page posts

Actually several dozens of them

How do you make this problem go away?

You moderate it. I run a group with 15k in it. It's pretty simple - if you break the rules, you risk getting kicked from the group. The group I run is the "big" group for the city, and people WANT to be in the group. They tend to behave.

Do the same. If you still can't keep up bring in someone from the group to help moderate.

My problem is I am waking up every morning to two dozen facebook messages about various things....

When you grow Facebook "sexypics/adult/porn" page too big you will get banned anyway.

Stay away :1orglaugh

I run a car page with close to 30K members and it gets wild sometimes. We have 8 mods to keep things in order but sometimes none of us are available/at the keys to take care of things.

LoL. That's like burning down your house to get rid of ants. A. Tad. Bit. Extreme.

Simple, contact the sponsor and have them close the assclown's affiliate account for a TOS violation.

Can you edit the post and change his code to yours?

Colmike9 09-26-2019 10:17 PM

You can set your page to auto-deny posts that contain KWs that you set up, depending on the kinds of spam on your page. Or just change the option to require you to approve all posts before they go live. That option might lose some users, though.

report affiliate links to facebook,
report facebook post with affiliate link to the affiliate program.

if possible change his links to yours.

Interesting idea.

The best way is to hide the post, so the person that posted the link still sees the link but to everyone else they can't see the link or the post

He thinks hes still getting clicks etc but hes getting jack shit.

i have a page with 21k ( Non Porn )
