Paypal is garbage. There's tons of better alternatives out there that don't gouge you or screw you over. Drop the archaic fucking shit already.

Rochard 11-14-2019 11:56 AM

YNOT has it too: https://www.ynot.com/paypal-has-stop...model-payouts/

Yup, I'm surprised we were able to use it for as long as we did.

I wonder how many payments they froze out... Thanks SESTA/FOSTA!

The Porn Nerd 11-14-2019 02:11 PM

MG is working hard at getting everything setup for new payment options. It must be a bitch of a job considering we're talking hundreds of thousands of accounts here.

BTW: Americans don't generally use Paxum or EPayments etc. We prefer wires or checks. :thumbsup

RyuLion 11-14-2019 04:52 PM

It was inevitable..

ilnjscb 11-14-2019 05:14 PM

Looks like paxum is stepping in as the hero of the hour

Agreed. We did all we could to get a new account opened with paypal when they gave us the boot. There was no hope.

I highly doubt they are going to get it back.

We actually have a fair amount of USA business account-holders actively using our service. Presumably your statement is based on your own experience, and not everyone elses :)

Ruth, can you please respond to our emails? We have more than $60K locked at Paxum because of the wire problem that Paxum has.

No, my bias is based on the countless "WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MONEY PAXUM' threads here on GFY. So don't jump on me because you work for a shitty payment company RuthB. Do your job, stop these endless threads of how bad Paxum sucks and THEN maybe you can have an attitude.

I've replied numerous times, and I replied again today. I'm sorry for the delay getting USD set up for your account.

In the meantime you do still have EUR as a withdrawal option if you need to withdraw the funds, your funds are not locked at all.

Your statement was generalized. Since you said Americans generally don't use Paxum it opens the door for me to respond (because I actually have access to the real data) in the way I responded. There was no attitude, simply information.

Using GFY threads to gauge the success of a company is not really all that wise. GFY is full of trolls and paid posters with their own agendas.

There's no need to be so aggressive you know. We're all just human beings trying to make a living. Guessing you're having a bad day, I hope it improves! :)

Agreed. I apologize RuthB. I AM having a shitty day and it's not your fault. :error

Thank God the weekend is here! Please enjoy yours and sorry for lashing out. :thumbsup

pamon 11-15-2019 11:56 PM

but Paxum still leaves US business holders as Wires as the only withdrawl at $50/wire. That's not a fair option in this gloabl economy. Oh yeah, and no US ATM cards to withdrawl funds to for US Business account holders either? Like Paxum, but seems like too many regulatory hurdles for companies like Paxum and others to realize...

Paypal's rationalization is that Pornhub issued payments that weren't authorized and Paypal shut them down as a result. If true, that faults on Pornhub not Paypal. Agree Paypal has screwed the adult industry for a while, but Epoch and others have done a decent job making it work with adult sites and paypal as payment options.

As 2020 approaches, seems like crypto or some alternative might be the way to go in adult.

nikki99 11-16-2019 11:02 AM

well if we can send paxum funds to tne new bitsafe mastercard will be PERFECT! :thumbsup

Agreed. Now with cards like TenX Visa coming out there wont be much need to hassle with companies like Paypal (and their fees, and permissions), or Paxum (and their permissions). Spending on cards with no border issues, etc. It's all coming :thumbsup

Why wouldn't they support Paypal payments?

Not the payment but paypal as company.

Where do you see this? i just searched the page, dont see anything about it. Would like to see in what context.

Btw, TenX is an example of one that is launched already, ofc these are centralized companies and will be held accountable if not follow all regulatory demands.

Crypto (.com) (used to be Monaco) is another one who's working on something i think.

More and more are coming out.

yes. afaik tenx.tech & crypto.com have, or are in process of, offering VISA cards where you can spend crypto (BTC for sure)

The only mention i see of Paypal with TenX is on their whitepaper:

Quote:

After winning first prize at the DBS Blockchain Hackathon in 2015, they used the prize money
as initial capital to fund the business. By 2016 they were incubated in the PayPal Innovation Lab
as part of it’s inaugural batch and shortly after received additional seed funding from angel
investors
Danny Toe and Steven Liew in Singapore. Toby and Paul worked hard on building
their product from scratch - a card that would let you spend your cryptocurrencies in real-time.
TenX grew in popularity and saw USD $80 million in funding at their sole ICO.

I posted this in the other thread.

Paypal's hands are tied. They will cut any customer loose that threatens their relationship with the card associations.

Unlawful content had become a problem on Pornhub, as it is on many other tubes. The problem was caused solely by hubris on the part of Pornhub. They believe they can do no wrong and this decision has shown them that there are consequences for not properly moderating content.

Totally agree with this and thats why all there 'Premium' stuff is on a different URL as there is no way in hell Pornhub.com itself would get billing as the content breaks so many Visa/MC rules.
All the big tubes seem to be getting out of hand now with references to family, kids, umaware etc.
They always have the excuse of 'user uploaded' but someone, somewhere on all those big tubes is manually allowing it or rejecting it.
Someday, there will be a big raid on a tube site for illegal content :2 cents:
