This is a real production car, not a mock up.

Isn't Roma the capital city of Italy?

Ferrari is Italian.

ruff 11-16-2019 05:16 PM

Italians have always been the best automobile designers in the world.

Mr Pheer 11-16-2019 09:16 PM

I see that some of you still haven't learned sarcasm yet. Or tomatoes?

Roma tomato or Roma is a plum tomato popularly used both for canning and producing tomato paste because of its slender and firm nature. Commonly found in supermarkets in some countries, Roma tomatoes are also known as Italian tomatoes or Italian plum tomatoes.

Yes, everybody knows Ferrari is an Italian car. Everybody knows that Rome is the capital of Italy.
Apparently some don't know that a Roma is an Italian tomato.

lock 11-17-2019 01:00 AM

Roma = Rome in Latin so the tomato was given same name as capital city.

I could care less about speed. In fact, the older I get the more I could care less.

You all mocked me here on GFY because of my Mustangs... One of us in the industry had a Ferrari - it was beautiful - and he was surprised my Mustang Cobra was faster (if only by a fraction of a second). However, a Ferrari is a Ferrari and a Mustang is... Not a Ferrari.

I believe Ferrari is working on all electric cars. They are also working on a SUV too.

I had two e types and they were both amazing. Why I let the second one....identical to the picture ...slip away has always been my regret. But I wanted to live my Deadman's curve fantasy, so it became a Stingray.

I used to work with a production company in London John Perkins Productions in Charlotte Mews. John had two Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer. Stunningly beautiful cars for their time but i guess he needed two because they where always breaking down.

On one trip from his home he had just picked up one of the Boxers from repair and was driving down the M1 speeding at around 150mph when the rear hatch flew open and acted like an air break and eventually ripped off the car. Apparently the mechanics failed to latch the cover correctly, cost them over £100,000 in damages, he was lucky to survive.

I think i'll stick to my Porsche.

Mr Pheer 11-18-2019 04:16 PM

I once won a Ferrari 360 Modena from an affiliate program here, but took the cash instead.

I totally get that the Tesla is not sexy. But the point of a high performance car is performance. I am totally confused on what to buy now as buying an inferior product just for looks is hard to do,

Actually, yes it can. And it's a full flight computer, and more. It's not just a timepiece with a bunch of numbers printed on the bezel for no reason.

In the Uk i had a 911 turbo (930) which was modified with a 4 speed box in place of the 3 speed a blueprinted engine and a second turbo. Saved my life at least once with the extra speed.
Now in the USA i have an older 968 and another 2015 911 turbo both are in storage as the roads in Maine would rip the crap out of the underside of both cars

I don't think that looks good at all... "big" watches annoy me. This is why I like Skagen watches - nice and thin, simple looking.

Ad-Maven 11-19-2019 12:55 AM

wow wow ,i am in shok ! i can imagine how it will cost lol ,amazing car ,no words only emotions lol

The new e-Mustang takes a lot of its looks from Tesla. I would have thought they could do better. Why do a lot of electric cars look so stupid?

That is changing rapidly. My volt looks pretty normal. Teslas look amazing. And the new generation of supercars are unbelievable. When you don't have to put a huge motor in a vehicle, you can do some amazing designs. And they are coming. My electric cars have been segues to the next generation. If you like stupid fast, hang on to your seat belt, because you won't even need a steering wheel.
