That's the only time you'll see the difference. All these people thinking they're cool because they have 55 inch 4k set have no idea.

CurrentlySober 11-21-2019 09:42 AM

if you check out the second vid, you can see a comparison with 4k and 8k right next to each other on about 50ish inch screens. Itīs the detail that comes through on the 8k, focus perfect on each hair on the tigers back...

:thumbsup

we paid 1600gbp for a 32 inch LCD flat screen panasonic and with in the year it was less than 600 quid, a year before...

crazy prices they used to be, now, BlackFriday, you can get a 52" Panasonic in MediaMarkt for 400€!!!! Like WTF

Personally this quad core UHD 4k LED 65inch Samsung looks amazing for 800€

Looks awesome, price will be crazy though I'm sure.

JSWENSON 11-22-2019 06:20 PM

I'll get mine on wish.com for $70.

SBJ 11-22-2019 09:06 PM

I remember my 1st 17" LCD cost me $700.

I just bought an LED 1080P projector from amazon and it's great at about 100". Nice thing is the bulb lasts for 50k hours. I stopped using my old projector 5 or 6 years ago cause I got tired of replacing lamps every 3k hours.

If you are looking at it with less than an 8k monitor you are seeing exactly what the advertisers want you to see

Looked at an 8k, no noticeable difference between it and my 65 inch 4k

celandina 11-23-2019 08:59 AM

same scam different century :1orglaugh

there was a noticeable difference, check out the CES 2019 video Jeff. Each and every individual hair on the tiger is crisp clean on the 8k... :2 cents:

this is a projector?? not sure what you mean scam???

celandina 11-24-2019 07:36 AM

TV like that is as useful and timely as the " home theaters" of the 80ties and 90ties....A room like cost to set up ? 50 to 100 grand and the projector ran VHS tapes...In less then a decade it all became a garbage just like the Wall TV will be. The 219 " TV costs about the same as the old home theatre set up ....that was my point.

I donīt see this as the same type of thing...

the prices of these tvīs will come down loads and fast, & for these do not need the room in front of the screen to set up the projector.

These TVīs are great for large homes with hallways for party entertainment and to enjoy in a lounge, a pretty standard front room, especially with open plan dining & kitchen.

I remember when Frank Schilling was bragging about special ordering an 80" for over $100k. I have an 18' elite screen.
