Not sure it would be the same thing; pretty sure it wouldn't.

With bikes you feel the road; that would be an entirely different skill set and I am not convinced it is one I would bother learning. I would have to try water or snow first (probably snow).

Riding thru a canyon would not be as much fun

A lot of stuff like this, they build just so they say it can be done. The liability on something like this to the general public would make the cost prohibitive

They would have to make it idiot proof where it's basically making all the decisions for you, you just point it to where you are going!
