Micro USB Help
I’m getting a micro USB device. My wall plug adapter is for a standard USB plug. I’m seeing adapters for usb C and A. I’m not sure if my plug is male or female! I’ve just plugged in my usb cord to recharge devices.
Amazon has a lot of these but I don’t know which one to get. Advice please |
I would help but you have me on ignore so I guess I can't.
Oh well. . |
Usually on eBay or Amazon there is a picture of the cord being sold showing what each end looks like. Most cords are male at both ends.
Most USB devices come with a cord, usually with one end being male USB and the other end male (whatever style male plug the device takes). The specifications or instruction manual should also say what type of plug it takes. |
The female is the receiver like this.

Thanks everyone. I found a charger and cords that are mini and usb. Tomorrow I plan to study them and try to charge the device. I wanted to do it today but had company and didn’t get to it.
I found instructions as well which might explain why I have extra cords. My fingers are crossed! |
