Valentine's day meal at the restaurant was funny
All the "happy couples" on their cellphones. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
I really wish i had took a pic, but then that would have meant i'd have been just as bad as them (almost) so... :winkwink: |
I went out for dinner last night with a group of friends
Food arrives and I start to dig in, then the shouts came.. stop stop someone reaches over takes the garnish of mint I'd tossed aside and replaces it on my meal, then 3 people stand over me photographing my dish, then I'm allowed to eat it.. so I thought, but nah then I get elbowed every 30 seconds.. look look, 5 people have liked that, now 10 and look 15 people!!! Like I'm supposed to be impressed by it. And that was the appetiser, same process is repeated for the main course and every drink served. Dessert arrives.. I just got up and walked off to the bar. And now for the punchline... this is with a bunch of 50 year olds.. |
Yeah the smartphone poison everywhere

but the point of this thread is pretty much hate filled, as before phones, the people would have cameras, everyone´s always taken photos of special occasions, tbh, shame things are all digital. Now you have to boot up the laptop to look through pics and not just go to the bottom drawer :2 cents: |
Why go to out on a Valentine's Dinner on the first place?? they look so contrived . . .

I notice the same thing when I go out for dinner but I do like to get an occasional picture of my meals so I can look back on them and drool when I'm on a diet!
