Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP)

I've just updated this plugin to the latest version and suddenly, info is not shown anymore.
The reason is that after update, there is a new brand, Exact Metrics.

they are asking for shitload of permissions when connecting site with your google analytics.

So the real question is, can they see our analytics info on their end? Because they are now even asking permission to google console.

Have you tried this plugin from Google ?

It could be that they are just adding more functionality but I would drop it anyway - Google Site Kit is OK...

I noticed this too and uninstalled them. I would presume they could see the info if they wanted.

From the plugin author:

You can’t edit the GA data. What we ask for is the ability to edit the view settings, so we can syncronize changes as required (for example, enabling eCommerce tracking in our plugin, enables it also in GA so you don’t have to do it in 2 places).
You can find a list of the permissions we ask for and why here: https://www.exactmetrics.com/docs/go...ons-for-oauth/

I switch for a Site Kit by Google much better and clear - your data go only to google :)

Dropped them, will try that suggested kit. They ruined a good product and they want to squeeze some more money in the future.
