Social distancing in Canada - the bad joke
 

Politicians and talking heads are telling everyone to maintain at least a 6ft social distance from others.

This was re-iterated during this afternoon's cabinet news briefing...where the politicians sat shoulder-to-shoulder at a table about a foot apart from one another.


(sigh)

And then went live on a news conference standing a foot apart.

And the first one on the left keep touching his nose , saw him at least twice :1orglaugh

Bare with them. Theyre not used to setting an example.

did you see the politician say 'no more handshaking' then literally turn to the guy next to him and shake his hand?

watching the embarrassed self-implosion is great

Can't tell anyone what to do but if everyone did as told it could be contained fast. Chances are because people find it a joke will likely kill someone close before people consider others.

If everyone stay at home then we will not care about the distance!
