How does DMCA works with new tubes?

Hello everyone :D

I just thought about this with DMCA and video site. How does the new one starts? Is it like DMCA-Free clips you can upload? Or do they just buy some start-clips?

Any information would be good, thanks! :winkwink:

Klen 05-01-2020 06:18 AM

You can use sponsor content only to run tube. Example: https://beeg.com/

Clips that aren't covered by DMCA, with other words, "Free to use clips"

Is that something like exchanging free clips for ads that are printed in the video? Sorry for my extremely bad grammar.. I'm really tired at the moment and English isn't my main language

Yes, you get free promotional content in exchange to linking to paysite, and you get revshare when user signup to paysite. That is how every affiliate program works.

Content which does not have any licensing that is what "free to use" means.

Klen I do read English and so do you, but this time your explanation makes no sense to me. What do you mean by " Does not have any licensing" ? :2 cents:

Let say i upload a pic here, and say "this pic is free and you can do whatever you want with it, no licence attached" . So no need to pay for it and to follow any rules.

Do you know of anyone who shoots porn for free commercial use?? Why would he do that? :upsidedow

PimpStar 05-04-2020 01:03 PM

what about amateurs uploading their own stuff without any interest in earning but
more interest in sharing their sex life
you don't need to be a porn producer to produce any sexual content

TheArtistMSL 05-05-2020 12:32 AM

It's the same like royalty free music - The creator rather get the word spread than getting the small amount of money for it, since most of the people who give away this free stuff is usually not very famous and use it to be seen.

That is not enough to prevent a DMCA. If there is no license (Creative Commons licenses or whatever) the person depicted on the media can file a DMCA at any time, if they change their mind.

A comment like "this pic is free and you can do whatever you want with it, no licence attached" imply the uploaders intentions at the time given, but nobody knows if the uploader is the person they say they are... so that gives zero value

Just post a fucking link to a "free clip" and stop evading the issue ! And since you talk about a royalty free music ? ALL have a porn exclusion and MOST are limited to a non commercial use.

Find one couple did what you say and you'll get a gold medal. Otherwise see what is "revenge porn" is and how folks starting to do jail time for it! NOBODY shoots themselves in their bedroom fucking just to GIVE it to some schmuck to make money on. Dream on!

Every work produced is automatically protected by copyright ( yes, even porn). You as an author/ creator, and if you wish, you can attach Creative Common license to such work. It is designated by "cc" symbol. If the author does NOT specifically add cc license, then anybody using this work for any reason is in breach of copyright. Also, created work does NOT require to display copyright symbol "c" to be protected. The protection is automatic.

DMCA was NOT created to protect thieves, it was created to go after thieves ( or their affiliates... pun intended) once caught. :2 cents:

Still not true, because you dont know if the person uploading the content and saying "use this if you want" is the rightfull owner of the content.

lets agree to disagree on this one :2 cents:

I am still waiting that somebody shows me a link to a " license free adult video" ... I guess there are NO takers on this challenge. Of course, I am NOT talking about cell phone video of a bar fight :1orglaugh

I was mostly wondering how this actually works. Do "new" porn site pay a bunch of producers for some "startup content" or do they just give it some time?

And the idea of, for example, letting anyone use the entire or parts of a clip as long as the original logo is visible in the video, sounds like an awesome idea. It would help actors, producers and creators a lot.

Best idea would be to have "short clips" for this.
I'm neither an actor or producer so this is just something I made up in my mind.

Miguel 05-08-2020 07:16 PM

As an example we can provide you for a bunch of hosted HD content or a dump of same movies to encode to the quality you like. Clips all are watermarked and not full length ( up to 12 Mins length though).

I am glad you have now stated it clearly:

You can license content legitimately from content owners. Both are here at GFY. The crooked ones and the legit ones. Copyright lasts 50 years after the creator is dead, so you may wait a while.

This is actually quite common using short clips from content owners with a burn in logo. This would be the ONLY legit way getting a free content. I certainly would give you some.

75 years after creator death to be accurate :upsidedow

Miguel 05-09-2020 06:20 PM

No tubes ever purchased any licensed content. It's just too expensive for their business model. Xvideos purchased some pay sites for Red. But they all pretend those movies on tubes are users submitted.

"Users submitted" =

1) commercial websites uploading clips for their own promotion :thumbsup
2) some home made porn clips with faces obscured :thumbsup
3) Thieves and pirates :321GFY

TheArtistMSL 05-11-2020 07:30 AM
