In last 48-72 hours traffic is gradually declining.. specially once they confirmed the roll out is complete... we are are in different seo groups and forum and didn’t see a single person who said traffic has gone up

yes. Quality pages up, low quality, and thin content stiff is down. Just as it should be.

I thought it was the other way around with this update. :(

That's what I'm seeing too. Thin content on top.

What was important to me,I've done it in high quality. Every single page I've checked is in the same position or even up. For example, one of my top converting keywords was stuck on third place in google SERPs for a long long time. Other guys were better because of their link profiles. I was aware their content and onsite SEO is worse but LINKS will always prevail.

Now I am up to 1st position what is saying that latest update favorized content quality and I am confident onsite SEO was better than any of the competitors. I didn't obtain a single link for that page ( and few more similar ones) but I've gained in rankings.

There are over 800 keywords I am tracking and there is no way I am checking them all and comparing especially because they are not of the same priority. What was important to me and done properly is where it should be. It would go up with more links of course.

Actually, one of my test sites for cams entered SERPS in a good position for almost all keywords I 've optimized. After god knows how much time. No link building there so I think that update that just happened gave more priority to quality.

At the same time, a rough assessment ( I didn't bother because my revenue is up. Amount of quality doesn't mean improvement in sales) is that weak pages (thin content) are down.

There will be another big roll out OR a bunch of moderate ones, in the coming months.

No way once Google crunch the data, will they be happy with this update.

Totally agree. Those who complain most about this update are the same ones who over the years created low-quality content and invested a lot in link building. Finally, this juice is over.:thumbsup

Really? I saw the reverse. Seems like my sites were penalized in the past and it was lifted with this new algorithm.

I think maybe they are taking a better look at PBNs. I have a number of sites that link to each other and don't have many backlinks, but my sites are decent quality I think. So maybe they were automatically flagged as PBNs before and now the new algorithm is a bit more sophisticated?

There shouldn't be anything inherently penalizing about same webmaster sites interlinking. I mean if GFY decided to separate their mainstream discussion board into a different site, and the two linked to each other, it would be entirely valid because each site would be of interest potentially to viewers of either site.
