There is a better way to show your anger rather than burning down your community.The world feels the same anger and hopefully, justice will be served against that fuckin prick. I still can't understand when he had George subdued, why wasn't he handcuffed and put in the squad car right away. why did the prick hold him down for over 8 minutes and his prick buddies sat and watched? they all should be charged with murder and accessory

it's crazy and it's now going on everywhere. I'm from Indiana and now I saw that SWAT was tear-gassed a peaceful protest and guess what it turned violent after that. It's like they want this race war.

Why is he NOT arrested ? If it is him smashing windows with a hammer ?

Because it is not actually proven that it was a cop and the St Paul Police Department says it wasn't him but they did not offer up any kind of conclusive evidence that it wasn't.

So, they don't say where the cop was or what he was actually doing at the time, just that it wasn't him.

And the cop in the photo is not the guy in the gasmask and umbrella. You can easily tell the brow and eye spacing is way off.

All this violence and destruction does is reinforce the systemic racism. See what these animals are doing, the racists say. They must be subdued! Thus the cycle continues. It's horrible, and horribly sad.

My question: what did the four police officers who had Mr. Floyd handcuffed and on the ground think Mr. Floyd was going to do to them? They had guns, he was unarmed. Are these (former) police officers such frightened little pussies that they think Mr. Floyd was somehow going to roar up and hurt them?

I agree about the police and I think it was a pretty clear cut case of police brutality, but where is this "systemic" racism? Can you point to a particular policy that states blacks can't do this and white people can? Or is this one of those boogiemen that we can't see but think it's there?

I think the looter and burning is stupid. I understand how some see it as reinforcing stereotypes but kneeeling was not working.

Congrat's on trying to get an economic recovery while burning every city to the fucking ground.

Well the Police ARE "the system" so let's start there. :)

But aside from all that just look at: the education system, the welfare system, the prison system, the unemployment system, the health care system....all systems that keep minorities at a disadvantage.

Thus: systemic racism.

But where tho?

3 out of the top 5 earners in the USA are minorities.

If there was sytemic or intituionalized racsim how would that be possible?

Forget "top earners" and look at average people.

Being white we don't feel it as much but it is there.

Nigerian American households make more money than your average white households.

If we have systemic and institutionalized racism, show me the policies that exist and explain why Nigerian Americans are immune to these policies.

Show me how the half of the 20 top earners in the US are immune to these white suprehahahahahat (<--lol they banned that word? that's awesome.) policies that are designed to hold down minorities.

Edit: And the funny thing is, we actually do have real institutionalized racism that we can actually see and touch, only problem is it's against asians and whites.

Can you imagine going to Mexico and getting preferential treatment as a European American with regards to obtaining Mexican government contracts or your kids getting points added to their SATS over Mexican citizens?
