SEMrush Position Tracking - Credible?

Hey guys.
I use SEMrush's free plan. I use their position tracking for a few keywords. Every day I get a notification of a significant position change.
23 positions up, next day 23 positions down, next day 23 positions up, then 23 down again..... and so on.
Is Google that moody? Or is SEMrush's position tracking worth nothing?

if it's for your own sites better use google seach console.

semrush and similar tools are ok to "get the picture"

I have used SEMrush for several years and I find it to be very reliable. I do use the paid plan.

Organic search traffic and positions are an up and down game - daily. I also use google analytics and Statcounter all in combination with each other.

Sounds like you might have a keyword cannibalisation problem. Check to see if you have different URLs ranking for your keywords. If you do, get back to us for some idea.

And right here is the difficult part of SEO. You have to be a seriously organized mother fucker in my opinion.

Unfortunately their free plan does not let me check the "cannibalization" tab.
Here is what some of my pages rank for:

1 and 3 are competing with each other. Choose the better one and change the other page keywords to not compete with itself.

That's all I can really tell from your report.
