On the topic of posting in today's climate: I think the key problem is how due lockdown there is nothing happening so there is nothing to share.

It made me think that while I don't get out much lately, I can use a little of today and yesteryear to come up with a fun post.

So, a couple weeks ago I went to the soft open of a new brewery down the road from me. Among the attendees were two girls I had never seen before. As they were the most attractive people I could hope to see there, I gave the universal sign for "can I take your pic" and they were immediately up for it (I knew they would be).

As soon as one of them spoke I had her repeat herself to confirm that I was correctly hearing a London accent. It reminded me of my first night in London in 2011. Yeah, the hair is a different color, but I had an immediate flashback.

That was a pretty insane evening; and I will take credit for getting that session started. Even if I had no idea what I was starting at the time.

One half of the Preeti & Priya twins I see who hang out on BabeStation here in the UK.

TBH, with this COVID bs, I am kind of lost as to what's acceptable for invites to strangers.

I need to find out who they are friends with. If they are friends with the brewer's wife (seemed like they kinda knew each other), I might have an in.

But, as I type this, the owner is Irish, so they easily be from his side. I only recently met him, so not sure his status. I will follow up.

Their website must be using very old photos.
