I bet the first (next) vacation i take i will get burned alive. Usually i always make sure i have a decent base tan before i go anywhere.

funny you say about getting burnt the first time you get to go on holiday again...

i´ve been working so much and the winter sun, it´s a little chilly, lovely to sit enjoying a glass of wine, or lunch, but not sunbathing. Anyway, last weekend was the first time it reached 24c so i laid in it for a few hours, i´m seriously red and have been in agony since!

At least now topped up lol :thumbups

We have like 10 months or more of shit weather.

It makes sense to have a "base tan". Too many people born here think they can go abroad for 14 days and take the blistering heat and be fine. Yet 2 days into their vacation they are like lobsters :1orglaugh


I also found out the hard way years ago. Never again...

I'm really white for an Italian... the reddish hair does not tan... I burn no matter what. Really sucked in AZ in the summer riding a motorcycle... LOL. I have always been a vampire, shy-ed away from the sun. Moving to AZ scared me seeing the older population so wrinkled from years of sun exposure.
