Setting up Mechbunny on PHP 7.3 FPM?

Anyone ever migrated a Mechbunny site from PHP 5.6 mod_php to a PHP 7.3 php-fpm environment?

Their docs say it will run in php-fpm but I am not making a lot of headway. Probably someone here has done it before.
