Any known problems at Paxum?

There's some weird shit happening at Paxum...

* My transaction list is completely blank, even though I receive a payment every fortnight

* When I was logged in and trying to view my transactions it randomly threw an error then told me to log in again

* Two EFT withdraws I just attempted were rejected a few minutes later (no changes to any details; these have been working pretty much 100% for over a year)

* The profile page features some weird Latin filler text which I don't think should be there:

"Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam, eaque ipsa quae ab illo inventore veritatis et quasi architecto beatae vitae dicta sunt explicabo. Nemo enim ipsam voluptatem quia voluptas sit aspernatur aut odit aut fugit, sed quia consequuntur magni dolores eos qui ratione voluptatem sequi nesciunt."

* The ticket system always shows 1 new notification, but there's never anything new there. :helpme

Anyone else having problems at the moment?

rowan 09-20-2021 06:59 AM

It happened again... a dialog popped up that said "Please login again" then a second later just "Error"

We apologize for the inconvenience. There was a technical issue this morning that caused some errors with the site. The issue was resolved promptly by our tech team and everything is back to normal. :thumbsup

Paxum itself is a known problem. It's arguably the worst payment service in existence.

Google the countless horror stories.

Use mainstream trusted banks. There's a reason a financial service would focus on the porn industry and it's not because they are well run.

The only reason I use Paxum is because a program that pays me discontinued support for bank wires, and moved to far less reliable third party "money in motion" services like Paxum.

Yeah unfortunately some programs do this. It's a very bad sign when they can't or won't work with legitimate financial institutions.

Probably a good idea to cut ties with them and start working with someone that runs an above board business that transacts normally with known banks.

If someone tells me they only work with Paxum that is an immediate red flag.

What's the minimum? My favorite alternative to use is Paypal with the Paypal Prepaid Mastercard and use it instantly and I can withdraw cash or do debit cash back. I can move 1c at a time if I want to, too. The only bad thing is that $300 is the daily limit for moving money from Paypal to the card and $2000 monthly, but there are ways around that.

We recently added local bank transfer (EFT) withdrawal for your region (assuming you still live in the same country that you used to).

Denny 09-23-2021 11:31 AM

Ruth, please check your email. I've sent you an email regarding wire problem.

I use the PayPal business mastercard. It's linked to my PayPal balance and deducts directly from it. Plus PayPal gives me 2% cash back on everything I buy. No maximum spend. I've spent 2500$ a day with it without issue.

Nice. I think my card has a daily spending limit of $5000 and $15,000 can be on the card at a time. But if you have other accounts with Bancorp, the $15,000 is total on all accounts, not each. I can take wires and direct deposit with it, too, and can be useful sometimes.

I will look into it. Thank you. And yes. Still in the same place.

I normally ask for a check and stop sending traffic if / when that happens. It's only happened once to me, though.

If you can't wire / ACH me, I don't want to do business with you. :thumbsup

Paxum and (Transfer)Wise are lifesavers for me. It depends where you live and where the money comes from
If you want to see real horror try WebMoney

What kind of experience you have with webmoney? I had some funds there, then they asked me to re-verify my phone which was odd request, plus i was not able to use transactions before i did it, and whole process was very buggy and slow. Since i cant risk not being able to use service at some point, i dont use them anymore.

Verification is a long, painful road. After every verification comes the next one, it took me almost a week to finish it. Finally, I was able to upload $50 a day (?) and pay some people in Russia for blog posts.
I left the account for a month, and then someone sent me $600 there. Getting that money from there to my bank account was a struggle, like a thriller. If you've ever used LocalBitcoins you'll understand.
But if you work with Russia and the countries around it, WebMoney is a must.

I've been doing this crap for over 20 years. I have never seen anything as bad as Paxum. If you found a service that is somehow worse than Paxum you may want to make sure you're not already dead and in hell.

This is true, a totally piece of shit service that will screw you over, fuck Paxum :thumbsup

Klen 12-14-2021 06:56 AM

Well, it seems paypal dont have ticket support system at all, only some sort of live chat/phone support. On paxum at least you can pull "Ruth" card.

grzepa 12-14-2021 01:17 PM

Well, for me it works - i get my local bank transfer in 2-3 days. Support sucks, but their service works.

hdbuilder 12-14-2021 05:08 PM

Me too, never had any problems with them and been there since they opened...

mrpornlive 12-14-2021 05:40 PM

Used to take me 24-48hours to receive my funds, and since 3 months it's instant, so that's one pretty cool move. Don't know if it's the same for everyone

It was due to Cloudflare, I noticed my sites take forever to load and actually wanted to contact the host, then I checked a few other sites (not mine) that are under Cloudlare and they were all incredibly slow too. Now it seems ok.

Hmm interesting, it's back to being slow again, maybe some regions need more time to get it back at full speed.

Hi guys! Paxum is blocking my account and used my money (2K usd) for over a month!
Once I logged into my account I saw this message:
Your Account is Limited!
Your account is under review. This may take up to 5 business days to complete. You will be notified when the review is finished.
Okay, I thought, probably something temporary, because I did not violate their rules and personal account I use for many years, pay for hosting and receive payments, transfers.
In ticket #497018 they write
Following a review of your account, please note that your account functionality is temporarily limited. This means that you will not be able to make any outgoing transactions for the time-being.
We will notify you as soon as we have more information regarding your account. At this time, we are unable to provide you with any further information.

Just in case I wrote to support a question: why the account is blocked, what is the reason?

The answer to the ticket #502150, I did not get for more than 23 days, or rather the ticket was just closed.
Having at that time about 2k on my account balance I naturally wanted to be able to manage the money, and I had to pay for hosting.
But paxum support did not care, they did not respond to tickets.

I created a new ticket #505889 with a question why my money is not available to me and oh my god they answered!

Thank you for contacting support.
Kindly be advised that your account is currently being reviewed by our appropriate department. Unfortunately we do not have additional details to provide at this moment in time.
You will receive further updates regarding the account status in the shortest time possible.
We appreciate your cooperation on this matter.
James
We will notify you as soon as we have more information regarding your account. At this time, we are unable to provide you with any further information.
--------------
I think that paxum is just using funds for its own purposes and I warn all users of this payment system. At any moment your account can be blocked and funds can be misappropriated without explaining anything!
I don't recommend to use their services...
