I begin run Ad to Cams. What must know every noob about it?
Hi ladies and gentlemen!
I'm glad join to GFY. Why am i here? Becouse i've decided try Cams and Adult Ad. My way is just beginning and wanna know everything what should know every noob to start. I'll be glad if you give me some advice about the business. Today i have few questions. 1 - I don't have any site. And i gonna buy Ad via TF\TS\JT etc. What Ads Sources and Ad Formats could you advice for beginner? 2 - I've read about RON and Remhant traffic and i got that the traffic don't convert well. How i can avoid bad traffic? In order not to accidentally buy it. 3 - I don't get about setting bids. I know the most popular format is 300*250, Header and somthing alse. But this formats have the highest bids. I've read at Сrakrevenue's blog that if i run ad at not very populad ad formats (placemants) i shoul set bid less than Ad Sourse recommend. But about how many times less? 4 - I'am registered with Crakrevenue. What other affiliate programs should I register with? 5 - I'm interested in niche webcams: bdsm and other fetish. What niche webcams can you recommend and where to find these affiliate programs and offers? BTW. I gonna use SimilarWeb and for get report (pro option) about JercMate's traffic and some other webcam brands. If anyone is interested, I can post information from the reports here. Thanks. I hope somebody give answers to my questions. I'm ready to listen to any precious advice. Bye! |

I tested many AD networks to send traffic to Cams.
It does not converts into regs. On other niches offers paid traffic converts also very very bad. Because you got bot traffic mostly. If you will find traffic network with human clicks and it converts on cams - let me know. |

Or have you decided not to promote cams offers? |
- cams are not the best product for cold traffic
- most of your revenue will come from a small percentage of spenders, making it hard to judge traffic quality on smaller tests If I were to start media buying for cams instead of dating, I would build a cam aggregator, register the user on my end, and api them to whichever cam site they wanted to watch. At least then you can collect emails and get a better idea of clicks vs registrations. If you are unable to build something like this, I'd still host the lander and pull the live cams from a feed, and have the outclicks go through your tracking script so that you can track source productivity. This way you can also have some banners, tab links, and collect push subscribers, although each of those will be less than 1% of revenue. |
thank youuuu!!!

You can check out CSB if you want to try what fuzebox said in the last point. https://www.roboscripts.net/cam-scripts/
That way you can work on getting organic traffic with people that are actually looking for cams. You will need to invest a lot into link building though |

But what did you mean when write this "I would build a cam aggregator, register the user on my end, and api them to whichever cam site they wanted to watch. At least then you can collect emails and get a better idea of clicks vs registrations"... Does it mean that user should give his mail two times (at "my cam aggregator" to I take his mail and at an Cam offer for potential payout to me)? Or is it done in some other way? Or there is an opportunity to register users at my side (for collect emails) and sent the data of registration to CRM of a Cam Offer? Then user just get mail link from the Cam Service for accept his registration. If yes, tell me - give hint - please how can I do it)) Thanks! |

And it's on a subdomain which sucks. But if you have for example a virtual reality related blog and take for example a stripcash Whitelabel, configure it so that only the models who offer virtual reality chat are listed. with a descriptive domain name like vrcams.givemeyourmoney You will see that virtual reality traffic will convert better on that whitelabel than it would if it were send directly to stripchat. Not always but you can always A/B test your traffic. Another reason why to use whitelabels is something we have experienced recently. The cocksuckers at camspower closed our account after 10 years, stealing 10 years of lifetime referrals we send directly to them. Luckily we also used their whitelabels, and after switching the whitelabel to another program about 60% of the regular visitors registered again. We always do both, send directly and use whitelabels |

I promoting only cam offers now (cam sites). Decided to sell porn tubes because it is not profitable, unless you manage to have huge amounts of traffic. |

Just curious if anyone has tested cam sites that do first cookie wins vs last cookie wins with media buys? If the former, then I'm sure others are getting their cookies placed first before yours.
People that do make good money buying traffic for cams, good luck having them tell you anything useful past the basics. :winkwink: |

Besides, often it's more profitable/easier to promote stuff that isn't common |
