Mainstream/softcore webseries
So I'm working on something I hope to be a little different.
I'm starting on a soft core, sci-fi web series and I'm looking for supporters. I have a mock up poster to give a feel for what I'm going for. I have my crew and most of the cast sorted but before I put together a kickstarter aimed at the more mainstream side of this project I thought I would gauge the interest from the more adult side. note for clarity, this is a mock up poster, these aren't the actresses I will be working with, im saving that for a more formal announcement. https://i.postimg.cc/dtdZHw2k/The-Co...ial-poster.jpg |
Have done bunch of these back in early 2000s. They will not work today as there is NO market of consequence. Good luck anyway.

Don't be discouraged this is a great idea.

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to starting this. I've got some great people involved so I have no doubt this'll go well |
Reminds me of the 70s-80s movies.

Reminds me a bit of the Charles Band films, as well as those late night softcore cable TV movies like "Emmanuelle in Space", from back in the day. Also, all those Seduction Cinema films starring Misty Mundae.
Speaking of the director Charles Band... Besides Full Moon Features, his company also owns Exotic Movie House and The Deadly Ten (which also features two upcoming sci-fi softcore titles). That man has been producing softcore and low budget horror (Evil Bong, Puppet Master movies) or sci-fi flicks for over decades now, so it seems like there's still a small market for it. Lol, I even bought the special re-releases of the Play-Mate of the Apes and Spider-Babe DVDs, which came bundled with a limited print comic. I guess that makes me part of that niche audience. :pimp Perhaps you should introduce some perks for crowd funding? Like sponsor logo's on the official website, perhaps during the end credits of the film etc. Good luck with your project and be sure to share any future trailers. I'm all for intergalactic boobies! :thumbsup |

I have had the plan for a kickstarter for a while. If I was to put something together what kind of rewards would you want? I had thought of the following
Signed posters, polaroids, custom messages from cast, special pictures and videos etc. Would you be interested in logos/names in the credits? links on the official sites? What else would appeal? |
