Corporate America has never been a meritocracy.

I am a woman who is not into girly skills, no aptitude or interest. Corporate America did not especially care about my work ethic, intelligence, expensive education, good grades, etc.

As an entrepreneur, I am fortunate to be able to get rewarded when I create value.

I expect that a lot of successful people here did not have the temperament to 100% comfortably slot into the mainstream of corporate cultures, not because of lack of ability...Whether we were limited by gender or accent or physical appearance or fashion sense or lack thereof etc.

A lot of corporate life is jockeying for hierarchy and credit, rather than simply doing an excellent job.

But, despite having participated in corporate or academic organizations for a very very small portion of my adult life, I promise you that the problems women are reporting in these worlds are unfortunately extremely true.

Yes women are treated like shit in corporate America. But so are men. Men treat men just as badly as women in the corporate world. It's cut throat and like you said, based on jockeying for position rather than merit.

When I first got into the biz in '04, I did some PA work. It was crazy to me how many dudes would talk themselves up, pop 1-2 Viagra, then still stay limp with fairly good looking chicks begging for some dick. :1orglaugh

"Wokeism" and the fact women are now 60% of enrolled students in universities in the US stem from feminism. Men are checking out from the BS.

There are countless examples of men having their lives ruined by false accusations. The obvious example right now is how Johnny Depp lost his career and probably over $100M because of "me too" and "believe women".

Not even in just corporate America. I know of so many women who got service industry jobs as bartenders and cocktail servers because she was banging the manager or owner of the bar/restaurant while every other staff member resented them because of it while they ran the business into the ground.

Now we have women lowering the bar in our military which of course weakens all of society.

I've always said that Meat Puppets, including myself, are a strange and difficult species.

A good Meat Puppet needs to be able to fuck some guy's wife in front of him while
