Discord is kind mobile focused platform plus mostly made for gamers. Dont remember anyone using it without being a part of game industry.

True, but nowadays there all kinds of communities, also for programming, technology etc...
It´s just mostly the younger generation is using the platform.
And some of them really can´t without Discord anymore....
