It may work for you, it may not.

Just like many things, just because someone can or cannot make money doing something, it does not mean you yourself can or cannot make money.

Tough call - I know clients who swear by it and swear at it. Assume your content will be stolen and used either on other tubes or website within a month it may hurt you in the end. Trying to get users to come to your site and pay defeats the purpose as to why they go to tubes in the first place for free.

Those who've done it successfully had content that was memorable and not generic which is why users looked for their sites or ended up on clips4sale. Just make sure either you have watermark or a good intro to each vid with the website. NOTE: there have been complaints as to the time it takes from upload to actual positioning on the site with keywords in place.

One thought would be is how often do you plan to shoot.

For instance if you were to do a huge shoot, such as Pirates (2005 film), then it may be worth putting on a porn site as it may be the best way to make a profit, rather than set up a pay site where people may not join for a single film.

But if you plan on doing regular shoots, say full sex or solo or whatever, then over time one suspects it may be the most profitable. However short term it may not be.

One other alternative is give it away free. So set up a porntube, with your own 100% exclusive content and make cash from people joining other sites via your banner ads.

But regardless, a lot is going to depend on your content.

And let us not forget that a lot of people shoot rubbish porn that no one is interested in, but then believes they will make a fortune, and you see them spamming almost every post on this forum desperate for people to promote there site that they pretend sells well.
