Canceled - bummer

Yeah, I just read that on the website... too bad! This would have been our first Trade show since Covid.

I was looking to go, but booked a flight elsewhere.
Do people still wear mouthmask in Canada for the bushfires?

We regret to inform you that the QWEBEC Expo 2023, scheduled to take place from August 1-5, has been canceled. This decision was made due to circumstances beyond our control, which have significantly impacted our ability to deliver the expected experience for all attendees.

We understand the anticipation and excitement surrounding the event, and it is with deep disappointment that we announce this cancellation. The decision was not taken lightly, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

While we were eagerly looking forward to hosting a remarkable event, it has become evident that the current circumstances prevent us from delivering the high-quality experience that we strive to provide.

We understand that this news may raise questions and concerns. We assure you that we are actively working to make sure everybody will get refunded their full amount of Badges or Sponsorships before the end of this week.

I have already been in contact with some local people in Montreal about doing a golf day during this week. If you want to join us because you are local or a short drive from Montreal, I believe some business will be conducted, but there will be nothing officially scheduled.

We are deeply grateful for your support and understanding during these challenging times. Rest assured, we are committed to returning stronger and better in the future, continuing our mission of fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and networking within our industry.

Yes my first show in many many years and then it got cancelled.
Not that great, but lives goes on. I will still visit Montreal anyway.
