wp-script new core version asking to verify you own your site

i noticed with new version of the core plugin, its asking to verify you own the site, which redirects you to your dashboard with a copy and paste code for each install (not the license key)

im guessing this is to do with people charging pennies to install wp-script. those people wont be able to use the new version as it requires you to login to the dashboard

The verification did cause some issues with some domains—critical errors. But thanks to the dedicated support of Mojo, they managed to get it all working again. (thanks Mojo)

i did notice when you upgrade and you click the activation key link it has no value in the key= url, but if you reload the page it does.

All my WP-script sites stopped working today. I get this on dashboard: "Your site verification deadline is passed.
Please contact WP-Script Team as soon as possible."

Anyone have the same problem?

If not, then maybe it all happened when you were uninformed about it. I was informed when logging in as I do that more than reading email.

The whole process that you may have missed out on was a Site Verification.

When logged in as a client on the product website, you would be able to click a link in one of your WP's and see a sort of page that generated a code. that code you needed to put into that screen you see on the pic, and then your site is verified.

I think maybe more webmasters will come home from a long vacation and miss out on this verification thing.

I managed to solve it. My WP-script dashboard was blocked so I was not able to verify the sites. I had to manually upgrade WP-script core and then verify the sites.
