Nice (well, not so nice)... Chaturbate has a beautiful banner that you load in an iframe, links straight to a live show on their end. I love this kind of ads, nothing misleading, what you see is what you get... but... probably one of their interners figured out a way to save on bandwidth by adding an X-frame-Options header to their ads to the content can no longer be loaded in an iframe...

efused to display 'https://chaturbate.com/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'.

I sent 'em a support email already, but no reaction yet. Maybe anybody here knows a way to speed them up a bit

I loved their iframe also, but it always shows an error message after 20-30 seconds or so that the resources can't be loaded anymore in the browser. And I see a lot of affiliates use it also, and with an Adblocker like I have, it closes instantly.

It never was flawless, to begin with.

none - the hun gets revenue from pre-paid gallery placements on the top 15 spaces and banners. the rest of the galleries are free placements.

That can only be fixed by chaturbate

You could probably just create your own iframe banner using their API instead. It would save you all a huge headache.

Lol, chaturbate’s answer: “ For security purposes chaturbate.com is blocked from loading in an iframe, only the affiliate cam listing and embedded cams are allowed to load within the iframe. We are unable to reproduce this issue on our end, but there may be a bug we are unaware of if there is an unexpected redirect happening. The expected behavior is for the iframe or embedded cam to load chaturbate.com in a new tab once clicked and not within the iframe. Any additional information such as the type of ad you are embedding and the url would be very helpful in reproducing what you are experiencing.”

I disabled their ads. You might want to do the same

Honestly rolling your own using their API (with fallback options etc) is pretty easy and the best thing moving forward.

Yeah, that’s a good idea. I’m in LA now though. I’ll look at that once we’re back. We do use their API for a custom listing on thehun. Looks like a regular listing. That uses their API
