Stripchat revenues off without signup popup do to Adblock

I noticed registrations down by about 20% and said hmm... Turns out adblock is blocking their current domain they use for loading the popup signup script. Doh!

Going to cost me thousands this month. Perhaps even ten. Which means it is going to cost them a lot more based on what the revshare percentage is and multiply it by 100+ affiliates at my level or higher. And then 1000's of them lower, but above a thousand a month.

You can use whitelabel to not get blocked by AdBlock. Will people spend money there - question. Are potential spenders using AdBlock - another question.

Op which script you are using? Plus you are buying traffic?

V_RocKs 10-18-2024 10:17 PM

The script is on their site. My traffic is pure SEO. It is the script that is executed when I send a surfer to a particular models page on their site. It is supposed to bring up a modal to ask them to join. But it no longer comes up because their domain they are loading it from is now blocked by ad block. When it works, mint money. When it doesn't, good money, but not minting it.

When I'm not minting money, they aren't either.

Then use your own Popunder Script .. where is the problem

lovebitch 10-19-2024 11:05 AM

You have blog or site where you get traffic from Google and redirect users to their site? Correct?

Isn't Google basically killing adblock soon? Wonder if that will help.

Hi Morgan. Thanks for replying. It is not the affliate account that has an issue. It is YOUR domain that you use to load the pop up modal script.

There is a quick solution for this. If you are using a whitelabel, you can use it for redirect purposes as well. I tried it out with uBlock Origin ( which has Easylist) and it load the script without an issue.

in your case: creative. whitelabel. com/widget/etc.

Using whitelabel domains for redirects is beneficial, because you can quickly act if you got on an adblock list.

If you want to send people to stripchat, instead of your whitelabel, all you need to do is to add "?targetDomain=stripchat.com" to it.

This does nothing to fix the issue.

1. Sending them to a WL isn't what I want. Lower conversions and lower money. Much lower than sending to SC directly.
2. ?targetDomain=stripchat.com only works with your redirect domains, not with WL's. And it would be sending them to your domain with NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM!!!

Simple fix for you is to buy another domain to host your javascript on and then change it out in your set up to load from that domain.

Just use your own script. I used to take the code off Pirate Bay. They always had the best code.

Try it out with your own whitelabel domain.

Example for redirect to stripchat but using a whitelabel domain : go.superchat.live/?targetDomain=stripchat.com

Example for the same concept but on script : creative.superchat.live/js/universal-p.js?targetDomain=stripchat.com

Its more safe if you rely on your own domains as chances to get in the Adblock lists are smaller compared to if you would rely on the shared domains. With the targetDomain param you can customize where you want the visitor to end up.

This is fine, but users ends up on the stripchat.com and signup popup is blocked by adblock.

What they have in the list:
||stripchat.com/api/external/
||stripchat.com^*/widget/$third-party

Now i understood, you guys meant the signup modal behaviour (action=sbSignupWithModel) on the site not the ad scripts we have in stripcash.

I tested it out, its not blocked by UblockOrigin but it is blocked by the regular Adblock.

We will look in to the case. Fortunately soon chrome will block adblocker extensions but till then we will fix it for sure.

https://creative.xxxivjmp.com/widget.../init/index.js

The problem is that the domain xxxivjmp.com is blocked by ad block. So use a new domain. Though it will only work until some bozo decides to report that you swapped domains again.

Illegal movie/sports streaming sites too. :2 cents:
