Anyone else likes this kid of hardcore ?

I do dig metalcore (mostly late 90's/early 2000's) . . .the latest stuff I could think of was DRAIN or KNOCKED LOOSE.

I tried to like hardcore, but the yelling wasn't ever something I was able to enjoy. That's fine though.. everyone has different tastes but something that really impressed me was when I found how how hard the vocals actually are. I thought it was just yelling, but then I watched a video of how hard it actually was

I wonder if a hardcore lead singer has vocal cord problems when they go on tour with back to back shows

I don't know. There is this one Russian guy from the band "Slaughter to prevail" and he does these sounds that normal people can't do. You should check them out youtube.

But the best hardcore ever is always out of Scandinavia. There is even a name for the style "Umea Hardcore". I talked to guys from this band and they said their fingers are always bleeding after the concert and it takes about a week to recuperate.
