does price make a difference for the affiliate?

so, wondering...

does the cost of subscription make a difference to you as an affiliate, subscribing to send traffic to a porn site, the content or the program?

we all know content is king for the surfer & the wholesale content purchase, but...

with respect to how much an affiliate will earn. Do you as an affiliate see $29.99 as a 50% sale, 15 quid in your hand or do you look at the site & see what sells, maybe the program itself, paying on time, how it´s paid?

Is it content, the program, following the crowd or the price of the site & your return that makes you the prime affiliate & sale master?

The only thing that really matter is the EPC (earnings per click).

In other words; where can I earn the most amount of money on my traffic.

I've worked with affiliates a lot in the past, and some of my clients have been out-competed by competitors that paid lower payouts per sale, but because their offers/sites hat higher conversion rates for example.

It's literally just a numbers game, nothing else.

Will always be a combination of criteria.

A year or two ago I was pushing an investment advisory because single join comms were $750. Then the sponsor switched aff platforms and obsoleted ALL previous links by ALL affs.

Dumb.

fair comment regarding the combination...

so this investment advisory you were affiliate to, was that the company & product or the $750 commission?

AmeliaG 04-03-2025 02:57 AM

Kinda just math. If an inexpensive offer converts well or an expensive offer converts more occasionally, it can end up the same amount.

I do care if I think it is good value for the money to the consumers.

Manfap 04-03-2025 04:21 AM

Depends how it converts, we did some testing recently dropped pricing on a digital offer from $67 to $47, and gave the affiliate the options to promote the lower price for a $20 drop in comissions, people tested, some took that option others didn't

Not sure of your meaning. The investment advisors seemed fine, there was some mainstream news coverage of them, etc. It was/is a successful newsletter charging 1500usd at 50% aff comm.

The program and company seemed fine.

Their aff manager blew it though.

ok, this helps a lot...

Of course, the most important thing is to contact the affiliates, they have the right to the decision of dropping prices to push for more sales, as much as the site owner, thanks :thumbsup

For awhile they were in my sig and i was excited. Message me your email and I'll send you some of the newsletters.

Subscribers have a ton of money. Idea is the newsletter helps them pick stocks, with specific buy suggestions. There's a $1 preview version to get them hooked.

'Investment' or 'Investing affiliate programs' brings up lists of many sponsors like this.

TBH, i´m considering raising or dropping my price & it´s looking like it´s down to the affiliates what way I go...

I´m very interested in doing a really stupid low price, if big players were going to send 1000´s of hits a day & see a good return.

But of course, would be down to the amount of traffic that was sent. I know my retentions are good, my sales to hit ratio is ok, my content´s good & my updates are daily, so it´s all down to what will give me the boost in affiliates sending the traffic & seeing their income :thumbsup

As an affiliate, I agree EPC is everything. Also, prompt payouts are important.

NatalieK 04-23-2025 11:16 AM

& now considering a 65% deal for affiliates, message me on email or whats app if you´d like a promo code to centroprofits, giving you a 60% of all sign ups & you can lose 10% by dropping the monthly subscription by 10% for special deals too!

I know this won´t be for everyone, but those huge money whales, you´ll like this!

With daily updates, all niche covered, filming every few days. Good EPC & on time payments, you´ll see sales & about $10 a sale in your pot! :thumbsup

AdultFriendFinder offered me 75% initial and 75% recurring and a non-compete contract for 2 years to drop Traffic Cash Gold 3 and exclusively promote them. After the 2 years they kept the 75% deal rolling. I wouldn't have taken the deal for less at the time because I had many affiliate managers offering me nice deals. It worked out and I sent them really good traffic for over 15 years.

I don't promote porn anymore but I think you're on the right track to attract some nice players. If you want the real players you cant just offer a standard deal because the companies they are sending their traffic to are not just giving them a regular deal. At least not in my 27 years of experience.
