Samsung phone users had sms text sent...

Anyone using a Samsung phone had SMS text messages sent by self, not by yourself, the user?

like 30 text sent in middle of night, sending photos from gallery & stuff, very strange hack...

trying to work out how or why?

CurrentlySober 05-12-2025 11:42 AM

Sent to whom?

seems you might have malware on your phone.

I've heard of people losing lots of money by getting their phones hacked. I'd definitely turn that phone off until you secure your banking info and such!

Check which apps have access to your contacts, then cross reference which app was active at the time they were sent.

What was the activity in the bed though? Come on, you cant leave the story just there, right as it starts to get good!

unauthorized access, malware or a compromised app, there is no such known Samsung Account glitch

This is why Android is trash. Malware is everywhere on Android.

I had a Nexus 7 Android Tablet that got hacked multiple times over multiple years, good thing I had nothing important ever saved on it. Never been hacked on any of my Apple devices.

I would defiantly buy a new one. A wipe isn't always safe, it might not get rid of the malware.
