Why Has Google Shadow Banned OnlyFans? 👀
Google has quietly removed nearly all links to OnlyFans creator profile pages from its search results, even when Safe Search is turned off. Searches for creators like Adriana Chechik or Riley Reid, which once returned direct profile links, no longer do.
Since February, traffic to OnlyFans from Google has dropped by 50%, falling from 40 million to 21 million monthly visits. While the main site is still listed, individual profiles have all but disappeared — a move that could have serious consequences for creators and boost unauthorized leak sites. Google hasn’t issued a statement, and OnlyFans remains silent. So the question remains: is this a shadow ban, a policy shift, or something else entirely? 👉 Read the full story at https://fleshbot.com/9288719/why-has...nned-onlyfans/ What do you think could have caused this? Would love to hear your thoughts. |
Here's a consideration I bet most people didn't think about.
Considering I've been hearing from site owners for years about getting false DMCA filings from onlyfans models, perhaps Google is sick and tired of dealing with a plethora of counter notifications where 90% of the "offending links" are onlyfans.com domain. Haha nah, I'm insane and this little anecdote will hold no water for those who aren't in the know. |
On the surface, this appears to be a more technical problem with how the profile pages are rendered. When looking at site:onlyfans.com in the search results, the majority of profile pages are all returning error messages when indexed like this:
OnlyFans Browser is not supported In order to view content, please use one of the following browsers. Corinna Kopf (@corinnakopf) OnlyFans onlyfans.com › corinnakopf OnlyFans. Just a moment... We'll try your destination again in 15 seconds. This seems to have to do with how their full page logo is rendered on entry to GoogleBot before showing the actual content more than a shadow ban. I'm not sure if they modified something recently on their profile pages or if their servers were having technical issues at the time of indexing, but the volume of indexing errors makes it seem like this is (or was) a technical issue. I still remember the days of giving people "best dog blog" awards and the award they pasted to their website was 47 images each linking to a website. lol |
It's not the robots.txt file on onlyfans.
https://onlyfans.com/robots.txt It has: Quote:

There doesn't seem to be a tech reason for the removals. They used to be #1 results on Google a few weeks ago. I checked 10 very popular pages and only 1/10 is still #1 on Google. 10/10 of them are #1 on Bing. There's for sure a drop of traffic and revenue for everyone on OnlyFans. |
God I hope its because of the massive amount of fake DMCA spam.

<title>OnlyFans</title> <meta name=description content=OnlyFans> <meta name=keywords content=OnlyFans> <meta property=og:description name=description content="OnlyFans is the social platform revolutionizing creator and fan connections. The site is inclusive of artists and content creators from all genres and allows them to monetize their content while developing authentic relationships with their fanbase."> <meta property=og:url content=https://onlyfans.com> <meta property=og:title content=OnlyFans> <meta name=robots content=noimageindex> <meta name=pinterest content=nopin> What an SEO joke! What should rank there 5 million times the same duplicate title and description or non-indexed images and videos? Not to mention the sparse content of the pages and the robots.txt. So much for models being able to generate their own traffic these days! |

I made a point that 100% of my counter DMCA claims have been approved from Google, and they all have an onlyfans link claiming to own content on paysites they clearly do not run. I'm guessing all these false DMCA's add up and Google might go "Ok wtf, why is this onlyfans.com website being used to claim copywritten content all the time?". As far as arm twisting, it might be more just regulation. Just speculation of course but one can wonder. |
Help us stop False DMCA's
There's only 1 way to help stop false DMCA's.
Signup for DMCAForce.com Combat the problem head on and use a reputable company that not only protects ONLYFANS but all the top platforms in the world. Blogs are being flagged for MANUAL ACTIONS by google for content when they rank for onlyfans keywords so I think there is a much larger situation and issue at play here. |

This sounds like a larger problem. Edit: if anyone wants to hit me up to talk about this, it's probably best to respond back to the paysite contact first :) |
