Here's some inspiration to get some juices flowing. Just another one of those let's fck the regular folk laws that I was recently reminded about it. There is a federal law that restricts robocalls -- the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), enacted by Congress. This law prevents you and I from making robocalls, however, it's important to note that the TCPA doesn't make all robocalls illegal. There are specific exceptions: Political Calls: Political campaigns are generally allowed to use robocall methods for informational purposes or to solicit donations. Got it, ok for politicians, not for the regular folk! *Not disputing the fact that the robocalls can definitely be annoying, but they can be equally or more annoying for political reasons. Are there no creative minds lurking about this place? |
