Cloudflare problems
Hi all,
Yesterday i noticed several problems on my sites: - Some sites not loading - Logo takes more then a minute to load - Some pages not working right - Favicon not loading - Etc... Al my sites are running under the free Cloudflare plan. Now i paused all the sites on Cloudflare and they are running fine again. Anyone else noticed this? Or has a solution for it? Thanks! |
Would never involve Cloudlfare in my sites.
For users, Cloudflare has eliminated 25 years of browser/pageload speed progress. |

There are higher tier paid Cloudflare packages that guarantee SLAs. I think if it's business critical, having an SLA is important.

Also found this on Google, seems there are a lot of people with the same problem, especially in the Asia region. |

Redis mem cache works with cloudflare and can help.

If you can say it in a sentence or two. What'd they do wrong? |

Yes it's the webmasters fault. You will only see the human check if you have it set at Cloudflare. It's meant to detect bots. I don't have any of that stuff on and have never seen those issues on my sites. The benefits of Cloudflare far outweigh the problems. You can block countries, block hotlinking, block ai scraping, block your wordpress admin pages and do a lot of things off of your server that saves CPU use. |

Update: Made a draft pdf of a book of my photos (from 200+ models, to ~180 pages). Will print a few for legacy and maybe do some biz. PM your email; i'll send a small pdf and some backstory. A few years ago while being kept i wrote a serious book on the artworld and got interviewed on some big podcasts. Only profs who don't care about tenure will assign it. |
