Totally out of joy!

I just worked my ass off to deliver a 5 minute AI video and got 0 feedback, 0 pay

Why do I even bother?

I should just apply to McDonald's

Huggles 09-05-2025 06:53 PM

Friday night

0 pay

Baby's momma thinks I'm a fucking loser

Yet I worked my ass off to deliver

Seriously why don't I just kill myself at this point

Everyone just thinks I'm a loser and uses the shit out of me without even paying me

Huggles 09-05-2025 07:14 PM

I am just waiting for that homosexual ANAL PASTE (now we know where the name came from) to show up and tell us how he made 100k with one trade this week!

sarettah 09-05-2025 08:11 PM

Why can't you ever settle down? You been checked for ADHD?

JayMoyes 09-06-2025 12:21 AM

Are you just afraid to do real work?

I don't mean all night doing bunches of coding, setting up blogs, etc. I mean like working at a McDonalds, construction, janitorial...

Dude, I've done janitorial, driven people in wheelchairs to dialysis, landscaping, construction, data entry, food service (two years in high school working at a McDonalds), clerical, and I've even moved dead bodies.

When I was headhunted by Chris Lowden to work at Adult Video News in 1999, I was working at the check processing center at Wells Fargo, cramming checks into microfilm machines.

And there are people who will attest I am one of the least "alpha" manly he man types.

If you can't get a job, volunteer somewhere for a day a week. That will at least show you're productive.

Whole reason I work for myself is I'd rather jump off a bridge than have a 9-5. I quit an extremely high paying job at 19 or 20 to make 1/3 of that with my own business so that part I get.

Dude just seems scattered. If he stopped and did one thing until he had money he'd probably be fine but he seems to always be working on the next dream between whining about his lot in life. Have you seen hiim actually try to sell something? It's if you pay me I can get this other thing and do that other thing with it. Some Ritalin would probably help.

step one: quit drinking

step two: see step one

until then, nothing will change

once you get well, and you can do it, read and reread Jay Moyes' post above and get your life back

Why would you like telling someone what to do??

advice. not like I showed up on his doorstep with a mask to whisk him away to a detox facility

in the past I actually wrote him a full plan on how to safely detox at home to avoid outside scrutiny or medical ish

basic shit. don't wanna be a deadbeat dad? wallowing in thoughts of suicide? wanna earn an actual income? put down the bottle

personally I don't like people telling me what to do but when the advice is/was solid I took it and still do. to my benefit, it's easier just to eat rather than deal with the fuss my friends make when I don't

Huggles will make his own choices

@Eddy I am so happy for you, downstairs you were pretty open about the struggle. you did it. mad props and all the hugs
