Not sure if it is true. I was assuming age verification rules.

If I remember there were many clients I had a while ago complaining that incestflix were stealing their content. Perhaps those sites were finally and legally shut down due to violations.

:thumbsup What was interesting was they weren't even trying to hide behind "user uploaded". Didn't know how they were able to get away with that.

Does the register lock the domains or does complaint go to host?

\Here's a breakdown of how a website can be shut down for stolen content and ignoring Search Console violations:

Gather Evidence: The first step is to collect solid proof of the copyright infringement. This includes identifying the website's registrar using WHOIS lookup tools and documenting all instances of stolen content (text, images, etc.).

DMCA Takedown Notice: The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is your best friend here. You can send a DMCA Takedown notice to the website's hosting provider or the website owner. This notice formally requests the removal of the infringing content. Many services, like DMCA.com, can help you with this process.

Contact the Hosting Provider: If the website owner doesn't respond, reaching out to their hosting provider is crucial. Hosting services often have procedures for handling copyright infringement complaints and can take down the website if it fails to remove the offending content.

Report to Search Engines: Even if the website isn't completely taken down, you can ask search engines like Google to remove the plagiarized content from their search results. Google has a specific process for removing content that infringes copyright.

Google Manual Actions: If a website consistently violates Google's spam policies and ignores Search Console warnings, Google can issue a manual action. This can lead to the site being ranked lower or even omitted from search results, making it much harder for users to find. Source: Google Search Console Help

It's a multi-step process, but by following these steps, you can effectively work towards getting infringing content and even entire websites removed.

Ok thanks but I thought the thread was about age verification for some reason. Can your register lock your domain for non compliance?

I'm sure you know how critical domain control is, so it's smart to think about things like this.

And yep, absolutely! Your domain registrar can definitely lock your domain if there's some non-compliance going on. It's not just a hypothetical, it actually happens to protect everyone involved.

Here's the lowdown on how and why:

Legal Lock: Imagine there's a big legal dispute over a domain, or maybe even a bankruptcy. In these situations, the registry (which is a step above your registrar) can put a "Legal Lock" on the domain. This usually means you can still renew it, but you can't change any of its details or transfer it to another registrar until the legal stuff is sorted out [Source: HostGator]. It's like a pause button during a legal battle.

Transfer Lock: This is probably the most common one you'll encounter. It's a security feature your registrar offers to prevent accidental or unauthorized transfers of your domain. You usually have control over turning this on or off, and it's a good idea to keep it enabled to protect your valuable digital real estate!

Registry Lock: This is a super strong security measure that's put in place at the registry level. It's designed to prevent any unauthorized changes to your domain. If your domain has this lock, even your registrar has to jump through hoops, like making a special request and sometimes even getting a phone call with a secret passphrase, to get it unlocked [Source: Wikipedia]. It's basically a Fort Knox for your domain.

Investigation Lock: In more serious cases, like if a domain is suspected of being used for illegal activities, a registrar or registry might put an "Investigation Lock" on it. This can actually take the domain offline (remove it from the zone file so it stops resolving) and freeze all its information and transfers while they investigate

So, in a nutshell, these locks are in place to safeguard domains from all sorts of trouble, whether it's an accidental change, a legal squabble, or something more malicious. It's all about keeping the internet a bit safer and ensuring domains are used correctly!

Interesting that you feel I create answers that are fake when in fact you're simply a troll who's been stalking me using fake nicks. Mind you though - I did check with AI and it states that trolls such as yourself are likely to get banned again as you were for harassing me with false claims.

Funny thing is that is the best you could type using your right hand while jerking off with your mom's underwear - every time you've attempted to even challenge me on SEO you failed miserably and were humiliated on the board - so since you have nothing to offer you continue to attack me.

Thing is - I don't pay attention to you - and within an hour will forget all about you - but you will always have me living rent free in your head - and each day that goes by I am enjoying my life and helping people while you boil over in jealousy and anger doing anything you can to get under my skin. Won't ever happen - and Im enjoying each time you post using fake nicks because you've gotten so upset - red face and needing to say something that I"ve already won - I control you. You can't let it go - I can.

So while your living your life trying to get to me - im already way ahead of you - enjoying my life - never once thinking of you or caring at all about you.
