Anyone have experience with "A-conman" code base?
How does it look? Worth messing with? |
is that website down? i wanted to check that software out, but no luck.
|
I was thinking about using A-conman but the site has been down for over a month and the software (which I downloaded from SourceForge) doesn't have any documentation, not even installation instructions :(
|
Why do you think they want $250 for instalation :)
It also uses PostgreSQL database unfortunately, which is not as common as MySQL |
I looked into a-conman as well. Also couldn't get to the home page, but you can get help for installation etc. from the help forums on sourceforge. Reading thru those help forums, you also see it's not quite production stable. Nifty project, but a bit of work needed yet IMHO.
|
a-conman is indeed production quality, I've been using it for quite a while now. Long before they went open source

Let us know how you get on ! :)
I'm in the middle of modifying 'gallery' to do the delayed update thing and rotation of galleries. So far, 'touch wood' it all seems to be hanging together okay. |
