On what could you possibly base that? My girlfriend's last three cars were Toyotas. One was pushing 300,000 miles with no sign of trouble. Service can be expensive because they are foreign cars but they are some of the most reliable vehicles on the road.

Im afraid of link hotten yahoo...

Toyotas are okay BUT ,
Theyre bodies rot faster than any car known to man .. and their wiring systems are heavily flawed .. most wire coatings drying out and craxking leaving shorts through out the car ..

Ive driven a few .. total junk IMO
however my 87 tercel was the shit .. I drove the living piss outta it before it died ... and it handled it VERY well ..

Statistically, Toyotas overall are the most reliable cars.

My MR2 Spyder was pure shit

I had it 24 days, it spent 10 of those days on three seperate trips to the shop. On the 24th day, it broke down on the way to the shop. That was the last day I owned it, traded it for a Mazdaspeed

Now I just want a Jeep and a bike. I got a 02 BMW 330i sitting in the garage if I wanna go out of town.
