herbs, good friends,and topped it off with a night swim at the beach..living in Cali has its advantages for me and one of them is the comfort of being 20 minutes either way of some type of beach...cheers:glugglug

except the beach is 2-3 blocks away

today was a perfect day for working early and playing all afternoon...gathered up the carahoevan and some drank and hauled ass. The beach is a good place for me to relax and meditate and plan my next move.

No lie dude...I did the SAME exact thing today and came to the same realization. I was laying out on my deck, catchin' some sun, sweatin' like a pig, smelling like a coconut. I was just at complete ease looking up to the sky and daydreaming/reflecting, while the trickle of water flowing into my pond in the background relaxed my soul...

THEN THESE FUCKIN' BIRDS CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND STARTING CHIRPING, CAWING, AND JUST DOWNRIGHT ARGUING WITH EACH OTHER!

I WANTED TO SHOOT THOSE FUCKERS FOR MESSING WITH MY PEACE & QUIET!

the further I am from civilization the more I realize how wide open and vast the world is. I sat there and talked politics with this chick,world issues,aspirations and future commings and as the conversation progressed the sun was going down and the world was just waking up for the night life...the secret to a productive life is finding what makes u happy and doing it 50 times over...i predict a move closer to the beach within the next year

No, but seriously...I agree with you wholeheartedly. I am nowhere near a half decent beach (Jersey doesn't count as a beach to me). But, you're right...this world is so filled with opportunity and happiness, and I never really considered moving elsewhere (where I'm sure would suit me better) until just recently. I guess it's moreso in my mind now because nothing is holding me back (recently divorced). So, maybe I'll be on the move soon as well.
