Something weird happened recently after the last Cpanel Update?

My confirmation emails look like

New account on NS2.XXXXXXX.XXX (XXXXXX.XXX)

instead of

New account on srv01.XXXXXXX.XXX (XXXXXX.XXX)

and the domains I am adding aren't working correctly...

hi gfed

i'm no expert on this and also i don't know cpanel so this is only a guess....

did you setup your own hostname for your server when you got it? maybe your /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network files have got over written with default files when you updated. have a look at those and see if your hostname is showing. As i say i'm only guessing but it's worth a look.

edit: ignore that it's your nameserevers your talking about, sorry.

Nope... still intact... although one thing did change the day of the update I went to my tweak settings to downgrade to mysql 3

I had connection problems after downgrading and everything was fixed the next day when Cpanel upgraded, but I didn't realize until another DB crashed that it changed it back to mysql v4...

anyways, thanks for the response...

anyone else???
