Now seriously, you not necessarily want cheap traffic. If you buy untargeted exit then your prod will be far worse than niche clicked, so the exit traffic ends up costing you more per click on your TGP. For example...

exit traffic @$4/k and 40% prod
=1.0c per click on your TGP

clicked traffic @$7/k and 100% prod
=0.7c per click on your TGP

clicked NICHE traffic @$7/k and 200% prod
=0.35c per click on your TGP

Exit traffic costs half the price to buy, but you can see which type of traffic has the real value...

rowan, I agree with your math.

Our $1.50cpm popunders produce at about 40%-50%, so that works out to about .375c (at 40% prod), according to your formula. So cheap doesn't necessarily mean poor value.

Noone sell exit traffic for 4$ per 1k anymore.
The price is more like 1.75$ per 1k with ordres at 100k
So the price must be: 0.6c per click on the tgp.

Another thing: if someone want a site big as fast as possible, most exit sellers can send a lot more traffic than click sellers can per day.
