Visa Chargeback Fines
Can anyone verify it will be Visa policy to fine merchants in the USA who are over the 1% limit after Jan 1? And I mean big fines.
I'm a little out of touch on where the sponsored merchant thing is these days. |
Read the thread announcement awhile back. This is huge and the fines can be in the tens of thousands on a monthly basis. Enough to wipe out smaller and midsized programs.

Avoid the threshold altogether- guaranteed
I have hooked a couple of players up with a private service that will let any site op avoid the threshold ratio limits - PERIOD! Avoid the fines, and avoid the chance of losing your lifeline of revenues - your merchant account. I'm not publishing details in the forum, and it's not going to be something spread around like a bag of chips. If you want more details, shoot me a message.

Attempting to subvert card association rules will make it impossible for you to have a merchant account for a lemonade stand. And I hope your site isnt the one I thought you alluded to on another board, it needs some updating. |
I know this is an old thread. It's just sad how 1% was/is the rule and now you have these clowns running wild at 12 to 15% chargeback ratio. This shit is going to kick us all in the ass real bad ;/

Who the fuck has more than 1%?
Dude, when I got mine.. I was told the minute we went over 1% we were GONE.... We have never got more than just over half of one percent... |

:1orglaugh i would look for a new bank who works to keep you under the 1% regardless of what your true % is. just about everyone I know making big dollars is well over 1% - especially in main stream. hell experian (freecreditreport.com) was getting fined 1 mil a month from visa. |
