FREE antivirus programs?
 
I have my cousins (computer illiterate) here and i am removing spyware and all that shit. Is there something free and basic for him for antivirus? Some people should not be allowed near a pc ...

Don't be a cheap bastard Juicy... Get Norton and while your at it throw SpyBot and Zone Alarm Pro on. If he is computer illiterate get him protected so you don't have to do it again

It offers anti virus protection for your pc, as well as for your incoming & outgoing email.
They update their databases on a regular basis too.
For a free program, it's pretty tight. :thumbsup

do you know for over 4yrs now i havent run an AV or firewall other than the one that came with my most recent router?

Only had a problem once with virus but it wasnt bad enough to make me format or lose anything.

I prolly just jinxed myself though, heh
