What do you think? Iran next?

Apparently they're still enriching uranium despite their promises to stop and sources say Bin Laden is kicking back there with a few hoes...

Right, the US should take advantage of the recent earthquake that leveled half their fuckin country and invade them now, yet even before they establish a working water supply! Quick, go get em...

well, it was one city that, in their defense, was built entirely of mud. When you build a city out of mud, its gonna fall down in an earthquake, hopefully they have learned a valuable lesson this time and will rebuild using actual solid material.

I can't believe this. Have you seen how long the city did stand for?

Iran will be wheeled our as the new Bogeyman to help Bush win again. The sad thing is most Americans will believe him. :(

Iran is already on the verge of a revolution. The student and youth movement is picking up alot of steam and I believe close to 60% of Iran is under 35 and have very little ties to the Islamic fundamentalists..

I think either Iran or Syria would be likely countries that Bush would set his sights on next. But fighting Iran would be even more of a challenge than fighting Iraq. Iran is much wealthier than Iraq and spends way more on it's military than Iraq did.

If they actually do have WMD's that should guarantee that they won't get invaded, otherwise they will get invaded eventually.

In his latest book, Wesley Clark said that Bush has been planning on invading 7 countries.

That's funny. During my international travels, I still remember the first time I was told that all governments practice propaganda against its citizens, but for some reason Americans seem most susceptible. I came to realize this is quite true.

Iran spends like $9 billion/year on the military compared to Saudi Arabia who spends over $17 billion/year.

Unfortunately too many Americans accept what they are told or read and do not question the source.

After the complete failure to find WMDs I'm amazed Bush has the nerve to talk about doing it again. He does realise he will be alone this time, he may fool the US but no one else will allow their goverments to help him.

Your point?

Just saying that $9 billion/year is not huge compared to some of it's neighbours.

and my point was that $9 billion is a big difference compared to Iraq's $1.3 billion in military spending

I don't much see the relevance of comparing Iran to Saudi Arabia since the US hasn't attacked Saudi Arabia, but it has attacked Iraq.
