anyone have a gucci watch?

I have this watch, everytime I take it off, it stops telling time, so I have to set it to the right time every morning when I put it in. Anyone know if this is something standard in these kinds of watchs?

sounds faulty to me

i sell watches - but not gucci ones - and i never heard of that
even if it's one of those watches that runs on body movement and has no batteries - it should keep workign overnight

Maybe the battery is dead but every time you put the watch on somehow the electronic pulses your body emits gets it going again. :glugglug

That's hot, but all seven of my cars and my private jet are upholstered with Gucci. And so is my couch, the one in my living room, family room, bedroom, and boom-boom room. This applies for all 12 of my mansions. :pimp

Same thing happens with my Rolex, except it takes about 48 hours of it not being on my wrist before it stops. It's because it doesn't have a batter and it's powered by movement. I'm not sure if your watch is the same or not.

NiteRain 08-11-2004 11:23 PM

Funny, friend bought me one, don't really wear it, works fine. But if you are having problems, and you still have that booklet that comes with the time piece it has a warranty on it, mine was under warranty for 5 years, yours may be too, so send it in to them.

Gucci watches are notorious for breaking down within a few years. They are apparently very poorly made, according to so-called experts on horlogy newgroups.

xclusive 08-12-2004 07:52 PM

If it's made to be used by body movement you might just be a lazy mofo maybe if you get off your ass and walk around a little during the day we wouldn't have this problem...

poorwebmaster 08-12-2004 07:58 PM

hmmm.......

I think the 'made in china' tag in the back has something to do with it.

directfiesta 08-12-2004 08:25 PM

Watch ( silver and gold with dark background ) and lighter...

I don't smoke anymore, and I get the time on my cell ( http://us.lge.com/Product/proddetail...egory Id=0401 )

Bought on Rodeo Drive about 15 years ago ....

NoCarrier 08-12-2004 08:26 PM

I don't see the point in buying an expensive watch. It's just a fucking watch.

Makes me laugh seeing people bragging about a stupid watch, or even worse, a cellular phone

:1orglaugh

abyss_al 08-12-2004 08:28 PM

maybe its an automatic watch...how does it tic? smooth, or choppy?

I have a timex in my desk from 94 that still is showing the right time. Come to think of it I have no clue why it is even working, I have never changed the battery in it.

Firehorse 08-12-2004 11:58 PM

Your watch is fault, get it checked. :thumbsup
