How could xbiz be so irresponsible?

They came out with a article titled:

Crackdown Down Under on Net Porn
http://xbiz.com/news_piece.php?id=4997

Its about the Australian government cracking down on CP . It opens with :
Lawmakers in both Australia and New Zealand are cracking down on web porn.

Fucking CP is not web porn, it is a illegal disgusting activity and has nothing to do with web porn or the online adult porn industry. To start a article calling a crack down on CP a crack down on net porn is so fucking irresponsible.

KMR Stitch 08-31-2004 10:32 PM

Why don't you email them?

Because I figured no one would read it , I thought of doing that first to tell you the truth.

The right wing does not distinguish between 'adult porn' and 'child porn'. They group it all together and claim it harms children. As far as they are concerned, we support CP.

You are right but Xbiz is not the right wing.

I have to agree with you on that one.

They think that we are no better.

You are 100% correct.

See boobmaster, I knew there was something that we could agree on. :)

Playboy or double fisting it's all the same to Asshat and his ilk.

I recall that "porn" is technically a legal term.

mikesouth 09-01-2004 01:22 AM

This isn't the first time and it won't be the last.

The common practice of politicians is to create a dragon, then slay it.

Nobody will argue that child porn is bad so whenever the government wants to regulate our behaviour they cloak it as harmful "to the children"

happens all the time, and not just in Oz.....

It would be nice if our industry (xbiz is a part of the adult industry) wouldn't join them in doing that.

If you read the article, it's not just CP, they are cracking down on hardcore XXX sites as well including rape, torture, etc.

Basic_man 09-01-2004 06:55 AM

welcome back dude

titmowse 09-01-2004 07:13 AM

go to google news and type the word "porn" in the search box. the majority of headlines end up being cp-related and rarely focus on adult porn.

Cassie 09-01-2004 07:17 AM

you would think after all this time, it would not be called child p o r n but rather
child exploitation or something like that because porn and children DO NOT go together.

porn is for entertainment purposes and adding a child to that mix is just disgusting....it is not porn and it is not entertainment.

those who combine the 2 deserve to have their heads removed.....painfully.

With a beginning like that, reading it would be pointless. Sounds like propaganda to me :2 cents:
