Watch out for the withdrawals. They nearly killed me. It's worse than any drug I've ever had to quit. There are even websites dedicated to stopping Paxil. Be careful, buddy, and don't be afraid to seek medical attention if you get there...

I highly suggest you look into getting off it. After I quit, I couldn't believe my body was addicted to that pill.

I despise Glaxo-Smith-Klein. I believe they knowingly created Paxil to be that addicting. The withdrawls are so nasty, even if you ween off, that most people go back on it.

You will have delusions, illusions, buzzing noises, fall down for no apparent reason....very scary man.

Yeah I agree man.. Sad thing is though out of 3 other depression/anxiety meds this is the ONLY one working for me so far :(

I might even need to get on Buspar for the extra anxiety I've been having on top of things..

I took Paxil for 5 years and had no problems withdrawing, if you do it the right way, it is fine.

Paxil sounds good for anxiety, how long does it take to work?

I take 30mg daily... It can take up to a month to build up a good level I was told.. At about a month I felt like it was working but not as good as it should.. Then it started working alot better all of a sudden...

I was taking Prozac, made me happier, didnt do shit for the anxiety, so I had to pop a bunch of Ativan, that messed me up cuz I had withdrawls.. so I popped over to Paxil while taking the ativan a little bit still.. helped me transition over...

In the past I have tried :

Prozac, Zoloft, Wellbutarin (made me more fucked), Symbyax (Form Of Prozac with anti psychotic), and now finally Paxil

Like I said, paxil is working the best... But everyone is different, you should always consult your physician..

Xanac .5 mg/4x day

Paxil 37.5 mg/ 1x day
Xanax .5 mg/4x day

I heard if you stop taking Paxil you will sart killing people in the next few days . everyone stay away far far away !
