You can see the dance of pr rank across the board. This is very close to right and if you know the current pr, there is a pretty good chance your getting whatever the other number is. The only time i saw it happen diferantly is when it stays the same, and the new rank dont stick (penalty maybe?)

Ray, thats pretty cool yours may be going pr5, i know you focus on the other engine but if set up right the network should do much better in google now with such a rise in pr across the board. BTW, it is more then just conversation piece...lol

Some of my Pr 4 went to Pr 3 and some Pr 3 to Pr 4. Anyway Pagerank is useless.

Wait a week unitl the dance is over. I suspect that a lot of the PR calculations will change and normalize.

Pagerank isnt useless - the PR displayed on the toolbar is useless - on purpose (there's no money in SEO) - page rank actually update constantly - PR on the toolbar gets updated every quarter or so - and is a good indication of what your page rank was a few weeks ago when they took the snapshot.

And this PR update has nothing to do with a dance - that was done 3 weeks ago - and is not associated with toolbar updates anymore

Yea, that's the way it works - PR is exponential so getting from 2 to 3 is a lot easier than from 3 to 4 and so on. There's a chart somewhere showing the number of links (along with other factors) you need to jump and it's quite intimidating to see how hard PR7+ is

Nah PR5 isn't TOO tough...PR6 on the other hand is DAMN tough, and PR7 is damn near impossible.
