Anyone around from Phatservers?
 

ok a hour and a half ago I notice one of my servers go down (Not Latin Teen Cash) so I emailed Phatservers and get the confirmation email they send right away but never hear back from them..

45 min later I'm like what is going on so I decide to make sure something wasn't sent to my spam box. Sure enough 100 spam emails deep I get this

Well now it is going on 1 hour and 45 min and I haven't heard a thing from anyone about this.. so if someone from support could contact me I'd be happy cause I was on my way to bed when the server died! :(

well it's back up now.. lost alot of traffic in close to 2 hours though :(

Its a good idea to exclude your hosts domain from your spam filter. :2 cents:

You think that's bad... Hostive.com's mysql database server has been down for four and a half hours so far.

...and nobody is answering the phone, email or ICQ there.

this was not the same domain that they normally send from it was like
phatservers-admin@ superfly.phatservers.com

normal emails come from just phatservers or what not and I've never seen one in my spam folder.. And that is not the whole point. The point was in that hour and 40 min why couldn't they have emailed me back and said we are working on your server and it should be up shortly.

normally when phatservers.net goes down I get no confirmation email but this time I did but never heard a word..

well anyways I'm tired and grouchy right now so I'll just forget it and call it a night

Phatservers kicks ass.

In a rush I moved to them a couple weeks ago and they had me up and running right away. Their tech guys answered all my stupid questions via email within the hour and I have capabilities now on my server I haven't had before in the 5 years I've been in this business.

Nice to also see they notify people in advance of doing anything that would affect site downtime :thumbsup I wish our credit card processors would do that.

Equipment has to be upgraded sometime. Great company with amazing support. :thumbsup
