Lasik surgery
I know a lot of people here are had it done and more are thinking about it. Just have a question for the people in ontario canada, where did you go to get your eyes done? And for anyone else, any updates on your surgery?
I've been wanting to do this for about 3 years now and I'm thinking about going in for a consultation in about a month. Oh has anyone heard of herzigeye.com or had it done from them? I asked my family doctor about them and she said that might be my best bet since they've been around for a while now. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
Err to bump my thread, I just found this for those that are interested on how it works with some pics :)

Just don't order the surgery if you are dyslexic...you might get asslicked.

I've only heard good things about it. Planning on getting it done this year... I was just waiting a while to see if any of the original recipients of the surgery went blind, which doesn't appear to have happened! :thumbsup
Toronto has some of the most established facilities in North America. Sure, go with Herzig; you'll be just fine. |

Actually I'm kinda getting freaked out just thinking about it, its your fucken eyes! :) I did read some bad things about some TLC lasik company though, but this was a few years back. |
I had it a few years ago in NYC and it was the best thing i have ever done. There was no pain, just some blurry vision for the first day and a half but after that it was amazing.....

I had it done in september 2004 and I can't recommend it enough! :)
I went to the clinic in Waterloo which is inside the Waterloo University. I had a ton notch surgeon work on my eyes and I also had the extra custom lasik surgery done. Make sure you get the best of the best when you're dealing with the eyes or be it any part of your health. DH |

Just got it done eight days ago now here in Vegas, couldn't be happier! That day I just took a sleeping pill, kept the eyes close as requested by the Doctor, and came in the next morning for a checkup at 20/15 and 20/25 (they expected the one eye wouldn't quite be perfect). Other than a ton of drops for the next five days, it was a breeze.

And Aly, don't forget check with your co-workers for opinions once in a while :winkwink:
