posting sponsor content to sites without linking, thoughts

i have seen many sites that do this, they post sponsor content to sites, some of it just sponsor content, some of it members are content, and the majority of the money they are making is from dating sponsors like aff , etc.

they get up to 200k unique visitors a day, and they are pumping up to 200mbps of bandwidth with all the videos. they would make so much more money if they would just link but they just post the stuff.

just wanted to know your guys take on this. and what sponsors do about this, when they find their content on someones site. thats just being posted and not linking to anything.

As a sponsor the first thing I would check for is the watermark. If there is one, the surfer knows where he has to go to get more of the same content. If there isn't one, then its content theft straight up.

cant stand thieves like that without sites like that we would all have more sales

Some sponsors allow this , if you generate sales for them by other
means .

Sounds like a lot of AVS sites to me. Some guys don't link at all till the members section.

What about a password sharing site that promotes AFF, cams.com and sites like that?

THAT's the shit that pisses me off, its no good for the industry.

found this one tonight:
http://www.villainess.com/

(I admit I could be dumb, and those could be fake passwords -- I don't know but it looks real enough to me)

In this order:

1. Ban their account.
2. Talk to the sponor they are sending to and get that account banned.
3. Threaten legal action.
