RealProducer How to do batch JOBS?
 

Is it bloody possible? i have over 200 vids to process and one at a time is taking the pissss

... I bet this comes from deep out of your english heart, anyway, batch processing doe not work with real producer, the only software that can do it is cleaner5(http://www.videoguys.com/terran.htm). there may be others, but it´s the only one I am aware of ...

Just a comment on Real.
Real Player is starting to charge people for using the RealBasic etc....
We started with Real, but then offered the option of MediaPlayer becuase it played well on both Mac and PC users, plus it used less bandwidth with the same quality.

You can use Real Producer from the dos prompt.
I know because that's the only way I've found to edit clips (ie, chop out a specific 10 second part) with real producer.

I imagine you could write a .bat that would process them all through the rmeditor.

I don't know how to do it though :(

well ti certainly is one shit piece of software

A really cool software tool which could convert to ASF and RM simultaneously, with batching, was Stream Anywhere - but it's been discontinued. :winkwink:
